Find Pounded Yam Productions at the Field Museum

Sometimes you don't know you have a dream until it becomes a reality and I didn't know that it was my dream to have my products sold at the Field Museum in Chicago until it happened.

From now until June 29th, 2025, the Field Museum is hosting the African Fashion exhibit - a celebration of African haute couture and cultural renaissance. At the adjacent gift, the museum is stocked with goods by whole collection of African vendors, and Pounded Yam Productions is one of them! You can grab bookmarks, keychains, washi tape and more, all at one of Chicago's more iconic venues.

And yes, you have to visit the exhibit. I could have stayed there all day studying the designs and patterns of the fabrics and the exquisite silhouettes but my 3-year-old and 1-year-old had other plans.
